Whether or not they plan to use Sage Business Cloud Payroll, Canadian customers could have the choice to track Salary and other compensation data(hourly rate, bonuses) within SageHR, even if it will not be integrated to pass over to a Payroll solution at this time. The need to track that data is there, and it is considered a "standard field" to any HR person I have ever spoken to in my 29 year career.
If we don't plan to add that to the Canadian version of SageHR, can we make it a simple process for Candian custimers that need this basic functionality, to simply sign up for the "International Version" of SageHR?
That would not require any code changes, we would simply be allowing the clients that wish it, to sign up for the appropriate version that meets their needs?
The weird part is we have all these HR instances that don't work in harmony. We make updates to one, and then 4 months later we talk about the idea of adding a feature or functionality to the next and then 1 year later it happens.
I couldn't agree more how vital it is to track salary and comp data, for any HR professional, anywhere in the world. How are they supposed to report on the loaded cost of an employee if this isn't tracked? It really hobbles the usefulness - please include that data in Canadian versions, thank you.
