Payroll and HR CA Ideas Portal

Direct Deposit

Make E-payment an option to pay employee, rather than just cash or cheques. We're not comfortable switching back to cheques after our staff are used to direct deposit

    Hi Mike,

There is an issue with the set up of direct deposit. When you try to read the terms it sends you to the dashboard web page and not the terms. Also it won't allow finishing of set up and then sends you back to the payment page but then you can't try to set up again. Can you post instructions what to do now? Thanks!

    Hi Everyone!

Today is the day! Direct Deposit has been enabled for all our early adopters! You can access the direct deposit feature from the payments tab and choosing the option to learn more and sign up for direct deposit at the top.

I look forward to hearing your feedback on the feature, please feel free to add any feedback into this topic!

    Hi Robin!

I will be reaching out via email once the feature is ready for early adopters like yourself :), there will be nothing you need to do, it will just be made available for you to use!

I would like to get access to being an early adopter for direct deposit. How does one get on the list as the email just sends us to the message?

set it up for Sage to process the pay run through our bank account as I currently do payroll and take the amounts and log into our business account to make payments to the staff

When is the next update on this? Might need to unsubscribe and find another company that offers direct deposit

we will unsubscribe if there is no direct deposit made available within the next 30 days. its 2023 not 1993 and no one pays by cheque anymore !!!

I agree that e-payment integration is a must. A work around would be to send EFT payments to employees instead of cutting cheques if your organization is small enough. I use this software for 2 employees (friend's company I managed the payroll and accounting for), but could never use this software for much bigger.

Direct deposits is an absolute must, who uses cheques in 2023? I don't get it.

I cannot believe Sage runs payroll without direct deposit. My clients want it
